Army and Marines

Two Captains, one from the Army and one from the Marines, having just left the service, were being interviewed for the same job with a company just outside a Marine Corps Base.

Both applicants having the same qualifications were asked to take a test by the Department Manager. Upon completion of the test both men only missed one of the questions.

The Manager went to the Marine Captain and said, "Thank you for your interest, but we've decided to give the Army Captain the job."

The Marine Captain asked, "And why are you doing that? We both got 9 questions correct. This being Marine country and me being a Marine, I should get the job!"

The Manager explained, "We made our decision not on the correct answers, but on the question you missed."

And just how would one incorrect answer be better than the other?" asked the Marine Captain.

"Simple," explained the Manager, "The Army Captain answered Question 5 with "I don't know." You put down, "Neither  do I."
